Harold Kent Lowery, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lowery, celebrated his third birthday on April 29. At last a step has been taken in the right direction toward a safer mill village. A vote of thanks should go to Mayor J. J. Cornwall for putting a police officer on duty on the mill village. Officer George Corley has been assigned the job of patroling our village. This is something that has been needed a long time.
