Billy has just come home from a cruise over in Italy. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Davis were called to Marvville. Tennessee this week end on account of the death of Wayne Woody, a cousin of Mrs. Davis. Our sympathy to Mr. Charles Williams whose grandmother passed away recently. We are glad to have back with us Sarah Iusti who has just spent a few days in Laurons t 1 Mrs. Ida Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Edd Duekett of Lyman, Mrs. Eula Quinton and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cunningham and children all of Clinton spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Matt Davis. Miss Caroline Young and Mrs. Frances Smith of Charlotte, N. C. spent Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Young of Mountville. Mr. Louie Pitts and Mr. and Mrs. Bobbv Pitts of Spartanburg spent Sunday with their wife and mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Pitts, who is in Colum Did 1Idl. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Brown and son, Eddie, had Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. John Nelson and family. Louise Brown, Pauline Nelson. Horace Bishop and Mrs. James Nelson attended the all night singing in Grenville, S. C. Thanksgiving night. Mrs. Julia Prick and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Bobb spent Thanksgiving day with Mr. and Mrs. Gus Forest and family of Greenville, S. C. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Laney and family spent Thanksgiving day with Mrs. Laney's mother, Mrs. Harmon, of Saluda. S. C. Mr. and Mrs. James McElhannon attended the Shriners Football game in Charlotte, N. C. with Mrs. Vernon Dees and Mrs. Tracy Dees. One of the players was Joel McFJhannon. We on the 2nd shift were very proud of him. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilson will celebrate their 8th wedding anniversary on December 24. Thomas Womble enlisted in the Navy and is now taking boot training at Great Lakes Naval Station. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Ealy visited Joe Mitehel in Columbia recently. Shirley McCall celebrated her 19th birthday on December 20. Ernest McCall celebrated his birthday on December 16. The Friers and the Revels will be there. The annual Cloth Room Party was held at Blazers, Dec. 3rd. A large crowd attended supper and dancing and singing was enjoyed by all.
