Carol, spent their vacation visiting Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Spurlock in Charleston. They also visited Myrtle Beach. M. D. Smitherman visited his brother, R. W. Smither man, in Atlanta during vacation. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Williams were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Adair at their lakeside cabin one night during vacation and the Williams entertained Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Riddle one night with a cookout in their yard. Mary said she had about the nicest vacation she could remember. and she stayed in her own back yard. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wilkie spent part of their vacation week at Myrtle Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davenport and Kathv and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cannon visited Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Davenport in Charlotte. Mrs. Sam Owens and son, Mike, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Furman Bratcher, spent a few days at Myrtle Beach. Sam said he had to go to tho flpnruia su/amn ami fight snakes and run from wild pigs. James McNinch said he'd like to thank the people here at Clinton Mills for the splendid vote they gave his brother, William McNinch, in the election. Rudolph spent part of his vacation in the hospital suffering from kidney stones. We hope his troubles are over now. Capt. and Mrs. Charles Galloway of Augusta, Georgia visited his parents. Ethel carried Ola cactus hunting with her one day during vacation. She said they went to 'Possum Kingdon. Princeton and Honea Path. Sho found two tvnrc of ~ -%T cactus she didn't have. Your reporter (Grace) really enjoyed the week of rest and I do mean rest. Eunice and Earl and Cecil and I spent the week at Earl's cabin on the lake. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wooten and children of Duncan spent a week end with us and Eunice and Earl's children and our children were in and out during the week hut no one did anything that wasn't necessary. We all got just a little lazv. I think, hut it didn't take hut a dav or two hack at work to get it out of us. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gibbs, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Leopard and Sandy and Miss Junita Patterson spent their vacation at Davtona Beach, Florida. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fowler and Pat spent their vacation in Florida and Georgia. They also visited Mr. Fowler's father in La Grange, Georgia. Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Handback and son spent several days of their vacation at Myrtle Beach. Paul Wil banks, Jr., spent one day in the mountains of N. C. recently. Brenda and Donnie Bryant have returned home from Florida where they spent a few weeks with relatives. WEAVING NO. 3A 2ND SHIFT By Inez Blackwell Hi Folks: Vacation time is over and everyone is settled down to work again. Hope everyone had a nice safe vacation. Some folks stayed home and enjoyed the week just resting and taking life easy, some went different places for their vacation. Mv mother, Jim and myself and Mrs. Pearl Reid and son of Ware Shoals spent our vacation with Mr. and Mrs. James Hvsell in Columbus, Ohio. Had a wonderful time. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Quinn enjoyed a week end at Savannah Beach. John Dunavvav and Bobby Quinn said they were glad to be back after spending two weeks at Fort Stewart, Georgia. John D.
