Not until after conderable deliberation was the dlowing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lace winners announced. The home of Mr. and Mrs. . B. Vanderford at 81 Palletto Street was selected as le first-place winner in the vdia community. The Vanerford home featured a ood-lighted scene of Mr. and Irs. Santa Claus relaxing round the family fireplace. Second place award went to ir. ana Mrs. John Whitmore f 194 Poplar Street. Their ome scene showed Santa in is favorite rocking chair, his ?et immersed in a tub of 'arm water, resting after his round-the-world flight. Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Craward's home at 50 Beech Street r a s adjudged third place unner. The Crawford's front orch featured a spotlighted rene of the Heavenly Host nd the Christ Child. In the Clinton community he home of Mr. and Mrs. larold Hampton at 208 Acadmv Street received the first lace award. The Hampton's ome had a beautifully decoated tree in the large picture window and a most attractive ront door decoration. Second place went to Mr. nd Mrs. Marcell Barker at 01 Florence Street.
