a minute and Turp Lowe, a
clerk at that time, was pulling
Tony out of the waste
basket where he was helping
himself to over ripe strawberries
and Floyd Hitt, another
clerk, was pulling Pee
Wee out of a jug of home
made molasses. I called it a
day right then.
Bill and Ellen W. holding
hands the usual way walking
around the square. Frances
B. and her lovely daughters
in and out getting ready for
Christmas. James Price's
cute little daughter waiting
to walk home from work with
daddy.
Well, we won't get a week

Guess she will be back

Elsewhere in the Clothmaker
you will see a picture
of Darrcll White. Handsome,
isn't he? I remember well
when his mother. Ellen, was
my battery filler. She was a
very sweet and kind person,
she was about sixteen then
and me. well. I will not tell
you how old I was then, but
I will say I had not heard of
rock & roll then.
Oh. yes. I have found out
why the Navy ordered buttons
sewed on sleeves of the
uniforms, and that a person's
ears never stop growing, and
that heeman ha'r grows 1
quarter of an inch in two
weeks.
Well, I must stop and go to
bed. I am afraid I will sleep
too late for work and if 1 did
1 would shoot myself before
my debtors did.
No kidding. I do hope everyone
will have a very Merry
Christmas. 1 hope I will enjoy
having Tony home again
for a few da vs.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
