FEBRUARY, 1959 WEAVING NO. 1 2nd Shift By Emily McNinch and Lucy Robinson Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Croy visited in Greenville recently. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McNinch and Sara visited the J. A. McNinch 's recently. Lucy Robinson visited her sister in Union recently. After six weeks of worry, the Patrolman finally decided to give Kat her driver's license (to get rid of her). The Homer Lawsons announce the arrival of a daughter. January 29th, named Susan Dianne. We welcome Jimmy Smith to our room. He has taken Harold Fowler's job. We are sorrv to lose Harold Fowler to Weave Room -2. we welcome Mr. Ralph Alexander as our new Supervisor. He has taken Dick's place with us. We are sorry to lose Mr. Harrill to Weave r3. Ola is mighty excited and happy since receiving a letter from England saying that Harold and his wife are beginning to get things in order to leave for the states in April. Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Everyone was very sorrv about Mrs. Alice Kuvkendall losing her home bv fire Jan. 22. and all were more than ulad to come to her aid in helping to replace seme of the thincs she lost. We're always proud to see the wav our friends and neighbors respond when tragedy strikes in our midst, and awfully ijlad we live in such a community. Chuck and Johnny, and Kb washed the mud off in the branch. Same Kb?you could have waited till you got home and used warm water. Really tho. we hope Tracy is going to be all right. So long till next month, maybe we'll have more news. WEAVING NO. 3A 2nd Shift By Inez Blackwell Mr. and Mrs. Richard Har lis and Stove, of Lexington, spent a weekend recently with Mr. and Mrs. E. D. McCullough. Mr. Jessie Howard was also a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. McCullough recently. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Harriel spent Sunday w i t h their daughter and son-in-law. Mr and Mrs. Harold Perry in Spartanburg. Mrs. Susie Hawk remains ill at her home on Milling St. We hope she gets better soon. Mr. and Mrs. David Pulley and children spent a Sunday afternoon in McCormick recently. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Spurlock and son of Charleston, spent a weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Barker recently.
