His wife, Barbara, is employed in the Lab at Clinton Mills. visited relatives in Hock Hill and Edgefield. Air. and Mrs. Robert Neal and Steve spent Christmas day with Mr. Neal's mother in Greenville. Nellie Price and Sudie Putnam were shoppers in Greenville and Greenwood recently. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Neal visited Mrs. Neal's father. Mr. J. J. O'Smith, in Salem. S. C. Linda Harris celebrated a birthday December 9. J. C. Page celebrated a birthday January 2. All employees of Weaving rl enjoyed drawing names and having a Christmas tree. Most of the employees took part in the event. Nellie and Sudic baked a cake and the men bought Coca-Colas. Sadie made pictures which we hope you will see in this issue. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Portage and family from Meridian, Mississippi. and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Rogers and family from Spartanburg, S. C. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Motes and sons, and Mrs. Marie Harmon of Union visited Mrs. Motes' father, Mr. J. F. Starnes. who is a patient in the Columbia hospital. Mr. Walker Craine of Utica. Mrs. Neola McCall and daughter, Laura, spent the day in Greenville last week. Franklin Wilson, son of Mr. L. F. Wilson, has returned home after being a patient at Hays Hospital. Hope he is Mr. and Mrs. James D. Rowe were married December 6lh. Mrs. Rowe is the former Frances Harris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William O. Harris, Clinton Mills. feeling lots better. Lois and Luke Boyette said their nicest Christmas present was the telephone conversation they had with their son, Murph, on Christmas day. Murph is stationed at Ellison Air Force Base in Alaska. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert McCall observed their 18th wedding anniversary December 28. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Motes will observe their 21st wedding anniversary January 29. Frank Lawson will celebrate his birthday January 28 and his son, Stanley, will be 8 years old January 31. Luke B o y e 11 e celebrated his birthday December 20 and his son, Murph, will be 20 years old January 17th. Mrs. Dorothy Lawson's father. David Lawson, celebrated his birthday December 25. Sara Shelton observed her birthday January 14th and her mother, Mrs. H. W. Alford, was 63 years old January 6. That's all the news for this month. See you around. Both your reporters did and again we would all like to say "thanks. Mr. Management" for the wonderful vacation. I wish to take this opportunity to thank God publicly for the many blessings of life. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kinard and son and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Arnold spent several days in Atlanta, Ga., as guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Campbell and children. Mrs. Joe Griffin and daughter. Gail, of Florence spent several days with relatives before Christmas, also Mr. and Mrs. James Arnold and daughter of Hemingway were guests of the Oscar Kinards. A wonderful time was enjoyed by all. Supper was served buffet style. Mrs. Dora Leopard visited Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wood in Belton and Mr. and Mrs. Ott Waters in Simpsonville during the holidays. Mrs. Ora Wood and J. D. Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Barker, in the Blue Ridge Mountains during Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Barker and family visited the Joe Wards in Greenwood on Sunday. They attended the funeral of Mrs. Barker's aunt, Mrs. Oscar Brown, in Spartanburg, Christmas eve. The Joe Davenports had all their children and grandchildren home for Christmas. Those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shealy and children of Greenville and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Bovce and children of Inman. Mrs. Leila Lever of Anderson is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Evans Lever. Mrs. Alice Kuvkendall visited her daughter-in-law. Mrs. Harley Kuvkendall. in Tryon, N. C.. during the holidays and spent Christmas day with her mother, Mrs. C. F. Simms, in Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Meadows spent Christmas in Anderson with Mr. and Mrs. George Meadows. Mrs. C. B. Smith spent the holidays in Gastonia with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Strickland. Furman Adams spent Christmas in Aiken with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Carr. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gibbs and Mr. and Mrs. Robert O'Sullivan spent a few days in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Mrs. Estelle Roland with Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Mason visited their uncle, Mr. D. A. Airman Malcolm Fowler of New Castle Air Base in Delaware, spent the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fowler. While here he accompanied Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fowler to La Grange. Ga., to visit his grandfather. Mr. J. P. Fowler, and also an uncle. W. C. Fowler. in Marietta. Ga. Newell Brewington tells us that his parents.
