Bailey Memorial Scholarship Program to high school graduates who qualify under the Bailey Scholarship rules. These scholarships have a maximum value up to $2,400 each, awarded $600.00 from year to year for four years, provided the student's progress toward completion of recognized degree requirements meets the standards established by his college or university. Eligibility Requirements Applicants for scholarships awards must be employees or sons or daughters of employees with at least three years of continuous service at the time application is made. Applicant must have graduated from an accredited hieh school with n scholastic standing in the upper fourth of his class; and, in addition, applicant must have pursued a college preparatory curriculum. Clinton-Lydia families with children who are high school seniors will do well to become fully informed about the "Mercer Silas Bailey Memorial Scholarships" and the educational opportunities they are designed to provide. Application Blanks are available at the Clinton High School Principal's Office and the Personnel Department. STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED IN APPLYING STEP ONE: Register for the college entrance examination board scholastic aptitude test bv: A. Securing at your school by February 10 a college entrance examination board application for the March 15 test. B. Register for Scholastic Aptitude Test, sending your fee of $7.00. Clinton Aroa Drive Chairman made a brief talk on the imaortanco of the drive and showed a film entitled. "Survival Is Not Enough". The film explained the way contributions are used for research. rehabilitation oi stricken patients, and special raining for those working in he rehabilitation centers. JANUARY. 1958 NT'S PLAQUE Community Homes Dressed Up For Santa Numerous homes in the communities were beautifully decorated for St. N i c k. Lighted displays on doorways, porches, windows and lawns could be seen on every street. The judging of these displays was no easy task. The Judges did not know the occupants of any of the homes. Their decisions were turned in by street numbers to the Personnel Department whose corresponding occupants were listed as follow: CLINTON MILLS COMMUNITY 1st Place ?
