Thanksgiving has gone and
the delicious dinners are just
a memorv.
Mr. and Mrs. Elbert McCall
visited relatives and friends
in Greenville and Pickens
recently.
Pvt. Earl Mottes escorted
Miss Joanne Lynch to the
dance at Limestone College.
Mr. and Mrs. Luke Boyette
spent Sunday in Spartanburg
with friends.
Mrs. Pearl Lawson. Sam's
mother, is lots better.
Sam Lawson said he is expecting
lots of presents

1st Shift

Hi Folks:
Don't these months hurry
by. though? Seems as if it
were just last week that we
gathered news for last month,
and here it is almost Christmas.
Hope all of you had a
real nice Thanksgiving and
didn't forget what the dav
reallv meant. Everyday really
should be a day of Thanksgiving
for all the blessings
we enjoy and just take for
granted. Sure, we work hard,
but we can be thankful we're
able to work.
And isn't our Christmas
vacation with pay really wonderful?
We want to say
"thanks" right here to the
management for arranging
that and also to say "Merry
Christmas" to each and everyone
who had a part in deciding
on it.

will go to Europe to serve
with the armed forces.

have our ups and downs but
we have so much to be thankful
for compared to a lot of
other people and other countries.
We should all be proud
and thankful that we live and
work in a community where,
if we need a friend and helping
hand, we'll always find
one nearby.

bov also had them. Glad to
