recently celebrated her 16th

Mrs. W. S. Manning and
Miss Elizabeth Manning of

The Clarence Dunaways
recently visited Mr. and Mrs.
W. E. Donald in Spartanburg.
Mrs. Furman Bratcher and

is spending the weekend

The Nabors reunion was
held Sunday at the home of
George Nabors at Kirksey.

spent a 12 day leave with his
mother and grandmother.

Spartanburg Saturday, July
27, to get a look at a grand
niece that had arrived about
a week before. Pretty little
bundle of happiness.
I went to see Mr. Josh
Motte Wednesday, who has
been sick, and I am glad he
was very much better. He is
the father of Maggie Grogan,
warp spinner.
Two birthdays will be celebrated
in the family of Mrs.
Ethel Pennington this month,
her son. Perry, on August 30
and her husband, August 27.
We are glad that Essie
Reynolds of Spinning ~2 is
able to be back at work after
a week of sickness.
Harry Wicker has been
transferred to Spinning -2.
Paul Patterson, filling doffer.
cut his foot very badv and
at this writing is still off the
job because of it.
Horace Collins has been out
sick a few days and we hope
he is better bv now.
Luke Cothran is all smiles
now. He is grandpa again.
His daughter, Cleo Sexton,
gave birth to a babv girl.
