4 CLINTON NEWSWEAVING NO. 2 3rd Shift By C. E. Leopard and Mary Miles Mr. and Mrs. Grady Turner and family enjoyed a fishing trip to Lake Murray last weekend. Also with them were Mr. and Mrs. George Turner from Williamston, S. C. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Trammell and family and Mrs. Ben Gwinn visited Mr. Carl Campbell in Asheville, N. C. Mrs. Helen Glenn and children visited her parents recently in Greenwood. We are glad that the children of Mr. and Mrs. Ulyss Gilliam are back home and improving after an eye operation in Charlotte, N. C. Mrs. R. W. Lummons of Columbia, S. C.. visited Marv Miles recently. Marion Johnson, brother of Mrs. Ruth Thornton, visited her recently. Miss Louise Wells of Rock Hill, S. C., visited her brother, James Wells, for a couple of weeks. Little Vickie is the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dock Dover of No. 2 Weaving. Clinton Mills. There were twenty-six guests and each remembered her with a gift. -Continued Mr. and Mrs. U. S. Patton of Greenville, S. C., spent a weekend recently with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Campbell. Wayne and Buster Wilson enjoyed a weekend trip to the mountains and Waynesboro, N. C. Sgt. and Mrs. Billy Hamrick and family visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hamrick, last weekend. Sgt. Hamrick is stationed at Turner Air Base, Albany, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Martin and children of Charlotte, N. C., visited Mrs. Louise Martin and children recently. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hamrick have been catching a lot of fish at Lake Murray. They were accompanied this past weekend by Louis Bauber of Greenwood, S. C. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Burns spent Sunday in Easley, S. Reynolds, has recovered from a recent operation and is able to be back on his job. Ronnie Brookshire is absent from work due to an automobile accident. Sure hope you will soon be back at work. Ronnie, we miss you. Mr. and Mrs. Syers and family of Spartanburg were weekend guests of the Brookshires. Mr. and Mrs. Colman Cauble visited his mother in the Snrirlav Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gallowav visited in Spartanburg and Greenville Saturday. Herman Johnson, Walt McAlister and Neuffer Creswell caught a catfish at Santee Cooper last weekend that weighed 37 lbs. Charles Oxner received his commission as a State Highway Patrolman April 29th and is now assigned to Aiken, S. C. Birthdays Larry Joe Bentley was 5 years old April 26th. Donald Caverly, brother of Richard Caverly, was recently discharged from the U. S. A. F. after a three year tour of duty in England. He is now residing in Orlando, Fla. It has been rumored about that Coley Campbell cannot catch any fish unless his wife goes fishing with him. How about that! Do all you fishermen agree? Bobbv and Mrs. Marion Shaffer and two sons arrived from Germany. They are with Mrs. Shaffer's moth er, Mrs. Marion Meade. S. P. 1 Arline Meade got married to Barbara Ann Ziler. He is the son of Mrs. Marion Meade. Sorry to hear Mrs. Janie Starnes and Geraldine Satterfield are out sick. We hope them a speedy recovery.
