E. Miles of Batesburg visited Mrs. Mary Miles and children recently. Patsy. Tommy and Tonita Miles have been sick with the flu. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Finney spent a weekend in Charleston. S. C., sightseeing at the wardens. We are glad little Anne Glenn is better. We are glad to welcome Dot Garrett back to work. Little Kathy Garrett is ill. Hope she is better soon. The son of Mrs. Henry Lewis is home on leave for 30 days. He will be stationed at a base in New Jersey. James Wells spent last Sunday in Athens. Ga. Jerry Joye, a member of the Clinton High School Senior Class, enjoyed a nice trip with his classmates to Washington. D. C. They toured Richmond. Jamestown, Williamsburg.
