FEBRUARY, 1957 JS WEAVING NO. 2 1ST SHIFT By Grace Wooten and Mildred Kinard Mr. and Mrs. Grady Turner and children spent a weekend in Williamston recently with Mr. and Mrs. George Turner. Mrs. Laura Griffith and Mrs. Henry Griffith and children of Woodside Mills in Greenville visited Mr. and Mrs. Grady Turner, recently. Mrs. Missouri Wilkie, Mrs. Ruth Oxner and Mrs. Opal McAlister visited Mrs. McAlister's brother-in-law. Mr. Willie Dolittle, who is ill at his home in Greenwood. Mrs. Alice Kuykendall visited her daughter-in-law. Mrs. Harley Kuykendall in Trvon, N. C., for a weekend recently. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Barker and children and Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Sanders spent a recent Sunday in Greenville with Mr. Sanders' sister. Mrs. Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wood and son, Tony, of Greenwood, spent the weekend with Mr. Wood's mother. Mrs. Ora Wood, and Robert attended the Legion Ceremonial at the Clinton Moose Lodge. Mr. R. E. Riser, of Waterloo. spent several days recently with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Riser. Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Meadors at last have a daughter, even if they haven't seen her. Their son. A2 C Harold Meadors, stationed with the Air Force in England and Miss Aileen Margaret Yaldren of London, were married Dec. 26, 1956. They spent a two weeks honeymoon on Sallv Island. Ola is certainly looking forward to meeting her new daughter. Mrs. A. H. Hughes and Mr. and Mrs. B. R. West, of Spartanburg, visited Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hughes. Miss Iris Hughes spent a recent weekend in Greenv. ood as guest of Mr. and Mrs. Luke Fuller and Gail. Mr. and Mrs. Grady Turner attended the "TurnerYoung" wedding in Greenville at the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Oscar Kinard and Miss Dawn Campbell visited Mr. and Mrs. James Arnold in Hemingway recently. Friends will regret to learn of little Sharron Arnold's illness. Her father, Ernest Vaughn, Mrs. Susie Hawks and Beatrice Dyer visited Mrs. W. E. Stewart in Ware Shoals. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thornton and children visited Lee's brother in Anderson recently. Mrs. R. J. Virgil Webb and Harold Burgess each have a brother in General Hospital in Greenville. Sure hope they will soon be well again. Mike Cannon celebrated his 15th birthday Feb. 3. Kernells on the 27th of Jan. at Havs Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Donnan observed their 7th wedding anniversary on Jan. 21. Little Butch Black was one year old Jan. 2. Mr. Rosco McGinnis celebrated his birthday on the 5th of Jan. Mr. and Mrs. R. McGinnis enjoyed the company of friends, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harris of Fountain Inn and Mr. and Mrs. James Blakely of Laurens, two weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. David Pulley and daughter visited in Greenwood last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. David Pulley celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary Feb. 8. Henry Fallow and the F. F. A.
