Neuffer Creswell, Feb. 11. We of the first shift had a very nice dinner on Friday before Christmas. Mr. Oakley, our supervisor, gave us a nice dinner of fried chicken, cole slaw, freneh fries, pickles, hot rolls and drinks prepared by Mrs. Oakley and brought to our work by his son, Frank. We all enjoyed it and after eating we exchanged gifts. We want to thank Mr. Oakley and we especially thank Mrs. Oakley for preparing it. May all have a very Happy and Prosperous New Year! SPOOLING 2ND SHIFT By Sara Lawson Mrs. Perry Chasteen, from Anderson, visited her sister, Mrs. Ed Young. Mrs. Ed Young was a re cent visitor in Spartanburg. Mr. and Mrs. William Woodard visited Mrs. Woodard's aunt in Pacolet. We are glad to have Callie Fowler back after being out sick. Clarence Ma lone spent Christmas with Mi*, and Mrs. Curtis Malone. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rhodes were called to Greenville due to the death of Jack's sister, Mrs. Ruth Wynn. Mr. and Mrs. Miles Lawson and children visited Mr. and Mrs. H. A.
