The wedding will take olace at a later date. Mr. and Mrs. James Arnold are the proud parents of a baby girl, born Oct. 17, in Hemingway, S. C. The little girl has been named Sharron Darlene. Mrs. Alta Riser was pleasantly surprised on her birthday, Oct. 7, with a party in her honor given by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sidney Riser, and Mrs. Doris Gibbs. Bingo was enjoyed during the evening after which ice cream and cake was served to the large number of guests, who remembered Mrs. Riser with many lovely and useful gifts, but none of it induced her to tell her age. Mrs. Ursula Blakely, who was 65 yrs. old Oct. 15. was honored with a drop-in at the community house. Many guests enjoyed wishing Mrs. Blakely a happy birthday, and also the delicious home made cookies, birthday cake and punch which was served bv the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Barker and son visited Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Smith in Hartsville. Mrs. tscairice Dyer is ill at her home. We hope she will be out again soon. Mrs. Dora Vaughn has been a patient at Hays hospital recently. Terri Jeannette Huntsingei\ granddaughter of Mrs. Molly Wehunt, celebrated her 8th birthday Sept. 13. She was honored with a party, which 42 of her classmates and friends attended. She makes her home with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hollv Wehunt, 714 Jefferson St., Clinton Mill.
