Mrs. Sue Banks with Mr. and Mrs. Billy McGee and daughter, Sherry, spent several days in Tallahassee, Florida, with Mrs. Bank's brother, Leo Tucker. The Oliver Reynolds had a wonderful time fishing at Santee Cooper during vacation. Mr. and Mrs. George Lawson had a pleasant vacation at Daytona Beach, Silver Springs, St. Augustine and Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The W. J. Joel Templeton has returned from a two week's trip with some friends to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mrs. Nell Tucker of Buffalo and her two children have been visiting her father, Mr. Charles Waldrop and Mrs. Waldrop while her small son has been convalescing from an appendectomy. Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Gilbert spent their vacation v. ith relatives in Gainesville, Ga. Mrs. Neal Ballew spent a week-end with the Donald Lawson family in Orangeburg. She also spent several days with her sister. Mrs. Nora Hill in Greenwood, who has been very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Emory Alexander spent a week-end in Greenville recently with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cunningham and their two children visited the Cherokee Indian Reservation while on vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hampton vacationed at Daytona Beach, Florida, recently. Annie Zogg and daughter visited her mother. Mrs. W. F. McPherson at Waterloo Sunday. Scout Troop No. 90 has returned from a wonderful week at Camp Old Indian. Several of our employees have sons in this troop. Jimmy Meeks, son of Frances Meeks, has enlisted in the Air Force and is now taking his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. San Antonio, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Coker and family recently visited in Charleston. They also attended the Camp Meeting at Mauldin. We are sorry to lose Annie Lawson to the Cloth Room, but glad to have Agnes Williams back. The Floyd Pooles were recent visitors in Greenville, going especially to welcome home Mr. and Mrs. W. N. I.pslip and daunhtpr who hart just arrived from Europe. A dinner was given in their honor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Burns. Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Boozer visited Mr. and Mrs. Donald Boozer and baby in Hartsville recently. Mr. and Mrs. John Gallman, Mrs. W. M. Ellis. Mrs. Fred Ellis, Mrs. Clarence Copeland. and Houston Ellis attended the wedding of Miss Susie Brvson and Davis Ellis in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Pfc. Kenneth Knight, son of Evelyn Canadv, who had been spending a leave at home, left for a tour of overseas duty on August 5th. Kenneth has been stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia. Corn Marvin Hamilton son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Hamilton, left for Korea on Julv 4th. The Ronnie Paces and children visited in Chattanooga. Tennessee, recently. We are sorry to hear that Thomas Stone is a patient at the Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg. He is a nephew of Wilma Stone. Hope he will soon be on the well list.
