r Jur 1Appoints chool Eamen To the People of Pickens County: At the last term of court-the grand jury was instructed b the judge, to look into and ascertain in their own way actue school conditions in Pickens county. They were further in structed to makeitheir report on said conditions at the nex term of court. The grand jury has been divided by the forempai into committees of two each which will constitute a board o visitors to visit each school in Pickens county. The purpose o said committee is not to find fault, criticise nor dictate but to co operate with teachers, trustees and patrons with the view of bet tering the schools in Pickens county. The grand jury recommended that the county superintend ent ogeducation publish the names of the committees and as] the cooperation of all the people in this movement. In compliance with the recommendations we respectfully as1 that teachers, trustees and patrons welcome the coming of th several committees, and we hope that you will willingly impai any and all information to them that could in any way be benefi -cial to school work.
