I c The Third Annual Pickens County Fair come to a close Friday ni^ht amid a crown of splendor and a blaze of tflory. We make the statement without fear of contradiction that it is, and was, the very host county fair ever held in tho South, and the equal of many state fairs. His, was the master mind thai conceived it, and his was the hand that carried it to its successful close and the fruition of all here was apparent. Many, many favorable com -, ments were made about the various exhibits and amusement features. Wilson of Waynesville, N, 0.,; spoke in high terms of praise of; the people here and the treat- i ment accorded him, and asks all of our fanciers to show at Waynesville next year.
