The buyers are in the northern markets seeking t he early spring bargains and our advertisers will announce the arrival of their spring styles through these columns. ?The Pickens Bank will, before long. begin the erection of a commodious building on their lot recently bought from the county. Wo understand that the plans have been drawn and submitted and that work will be^in in April. It, will be three stories high, with office rooms above and store rooms on the ground floor. It will be a very imposing and commodious structure and be a groat addition to the business buildings of our cit y and add much to the appearance of Main Street. Jury List. This color scheme was carried out in every detail, even to the cm mes?rea apples, wnite grapes?cakes trimmed with red and white icing and adorned with small candy hearts; in fact it was a most heart(y) affair, and 'tis said that Miss Ada Craig, one of the committeemen, was the moving star and the guiding hand in the arranging and planning of details.
