There shall be marriages and -giving in marriage. - This axiom seems te have been exemplified and fulfilled in the superlative degree during the past few weeks, as a glance on Rev. N. G. Ballenger's record book will show. Since the 20th of December Rev. Ballinger has been called on to perform a lot of marriages -six of which we were able to get-and, if we fall to mention all this week will - give them publicity later. On Sunday, the 20th of Dec., at the parsonage, he united E. W. Lusk and Miss Daisy Ad ams, a daughter of J. J. Adams, of the Crow Creek section. On Wednesday, the 23d of De -cember, at the home of J. F. Abercrombie, the fatlier of-the bride, he united Miss Belle Abercrombie and Walter Nally. On the 25th of December, at the parsonage, he united W. H. Miller and Miss Ella Porter. - On the 30th ult., at the par sonage, he united Clyde L. Rags! ..dale and Miss Pauline Adams, 'oa ughter of D. B. Adams.
