The two students were arrested and faced charges of domestic terrorism and disruption of a high school campus. Sexual predators can use the site for meeting and stalking victims. An incident in New York involved a 38 year-old man sending lewd messages to a 14-year-old girl. Robert Wise was arrested and charged with multiple accounts of sexual assault after it was revealed that he had used the site to have sex with another 14-year old girl. However mixed opinions about Myspace may be, the site has become a major source of revenue for its parent company, Intermix Media, which was bought out in July by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation.
