You can visit www.txtmsg4u.com to send a pre written message for free, and you don’t even have to be nice. The site has an array of rela tionship-oriented messages for any user’s need. It’s got the suck-up messages like “It’s not my fault I fell in love. You’re the one that tripped me.” The mean messages: “I thought that I could love no other, that is, until I met your brother.” The rub-it-in messages: “All your bragging led your mate to my room .... Guess what happened, bada bing bada boom!” And the just plain weird mes sages: “I can lick my eyebrows.” However, people receiving the messages will have to pay for them if their plans normally charge for messages received. All messages come with 40 characters of adver tising. “I think it’s cool. However, they should tell more college stu dents about it,” Princess Barimah, a fourth-year business law student, said. “If it’s free, they’ll use it.” Second-year business student Justin Young was a bit more skep deal. “It’s not a new service,” he said. “It’s already available on AOL and Yahoo! Instant Messenger.” Registered users who send one of the “Kiss or Diss” messages this February are entered in an Apple iPod Shuffle giveaway. The Web site is provided by ZifYP Solutions headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa. Though the “Kiss or Diss” messages cover a variety of rela tionship scenarios, some simply reflect the target audience.
