COMMENCEMENT DAY There are no rehearsals for the commencement exercises. On Monday, December 15 all degree candidates will report dressed in his/her academic regalia to the College Street entrance, located at the corner of College and Lincoln Streets, of the Colonial Center by 2:00 p.m. The Colonial Center has advised that all bags will be searched so please allow time for this security procedure. You may wish to leave unnecessary items at home. Degree candidates should go to, and be seated in his/her assigned seat.On the assigned seat, each degree candidate will find a name card; a congratulatory letter from President Sorensen, which is suitable for framing; and a commencement program. For the enjoyment of our degree candidates and our guests, the University of South Carolina Conductors _ Institute Orchestra will provide special prelude music. Please do not be late. The academic processions will be promptly at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, December 15. Degree candidates who are not seated in their assigned seat by 3:00 p.m. will be asked to wait at the floor entrance until the conclusion of the academic processions, Invocation, and the National Anthem.
