The complainant saw Nicholas Crawford in a dispute with the gate employees at the USC-Clem§on game. After being warned to leave the area several times, Crawford began to curse at the complainant and refused to leave. Crawford was asked again to leave and again refused. Reporting officer K.E. Reese reported that Crawford was intoxicated. Crawford became physically combative with the complainant while he was being placed in handcuffs. Tlve complainant and a USC police officer then physically subdued Crawford. Q MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL, WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM, 1000 GEORGE ROGERS BLVD. Jessica Hill was m—m m qt the USC-Clemson football game walking around the parking lot at the above location and was reported to have in her possession a cup with an alcoholic beverage inside. Hill told reporting officer E. Pereira her date of birth was Aug. 13, 1981, but she could not produce identification. Further investigation revealed the subject was underage. O DISORDERLY CONDUCT, WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM, 1000 GEORGE ROGERS BLVD. Reporting officer J.R. Merrill and officer Adkins were trying to settle a dispute when Jaime Moore became very belligerent and uncooperative. Moore refused several requests for her to stand back and stop interfering. Merrill reported that Moore was very loud and boisterous. O DISORDERLY CONDUCT, WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM, 1000 GEORGE ROGERS BLVD. While on duty at the USC uiemson loot Dau game, reporting officers R. Gonzalez and R. Whitlock saw Matthew Touchberry inside the stadium carrying a rum bottle one-third full with a brown liquid. The officers reported that Touchberry was highly intoxicated and that he had slurred speech. B SIMPLE ASSAULT, WILLIAMS BRICE STADIUM, 1000 GEORGE ROGERS BLVD. TTie complainant said she saw Alan Black throw a cup of ice, which hit the victim on the back of the head. No visible injuries were noted on the victim. Rosier reported that Michael Harris was seen at the above location as being unsteady on his feet and with slurred speech. Harris was reported to have an odor of alcohol about him. The victim said he and Richards James were involved in a verbal altercation, at which time James struck the victim’s bottom lip with his closed right fist. Reporting officer: T. Means O HARASSMENT (VERBAL), WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM, 1000 GEORGE ROGERS BLVD. The victim said that while at the USC-Clemson football game, Laurie Sanders verbally harassed her from the seats above. The victim said Sanders did not threaten her but that he would not quit calling her obscene names for about 10 minutes. Reporting officer: E. Psrsirs O ALTERED/BORROWED DRIVER'S LICENSE, MINOR IN POSSESSION OF BEER, MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL, PAVLOV’S, 2000 GREENE ST. Kelli Plyler was found in possession of alcohol inside Pavlov’s. Plyler admitted to drinking “a shot of liquor” while inside the club. Plyler had a driver’s license on her that ueiungeu iu suweuiie ciac cuiu admitted to using it to get alcohol. Plyler’s driver’s license was inside her vehicle and was suspended for a previous alcohol violation. She also had a case of Bud Light beer inside her vehicle. Reporting officer: E.L. Pereira. # LARCENY OF MONEY, DOUGLAS RESIDENCE HALL, 614 MAIN ST. The victim said that between Nov. 16 and Nov. 22, someone took his wallet from his unsecured dorm room, which contained $20, his social security card and a debit card. Estimated value: $25. Reporting officer: J.M. Simmons. 0 MINORS IN POSSESSION OF BEER, COLLEGE AND HARDEN STREETS. Charles Osborne was found with an 18- pack of Bud Light in his vehicle. Matthew Stanley said the beer was also his. Reporting officer: E.L. Pereira. 0 LARCENY OF JACKET, WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM, LETTERMAN’S LOUNGE, 1000 GEORGE ROGERS BLVD. The victim said someone took his jacket from the above location without his permission and with intent to permanently deprive him of its use. The jacket was left in the office at the above location, unsecured and unattended, while the victim worked in the lounge. As he tried to leave the location and take his seat in the stadium, he determined someone had taken his jacket. Estimated value: $90. Reporting officer: L.E. Pathel. Sunday, Nov. 23 ® DISREGARDING TRAFFIC SIGNAL, DRIVING UNDER SUSPENSION (FIRST), FAILURE TO SURRENDER SUSPICIOUS TAG, GREENE AND SUMTER STREETS. M.L. Gooding observed Adam Monroe disregarding the traffic signal at the above location as he traveled north on Sumter Street. A check of Division of Motor Vehicles records showed i Monroe’s tags and driver’s license to be suspended. Monroe had no identification on him. He was arrested. i © ILLEGAL USE OF TELEPHONE i (THREATENING), CAPSTONE HOUSE, 902 BARNWELL ST. Reporting officer T. Brewster responded to the above location in i reference to threatening phone calls. The two victims said they arrived at the above location to hear a message from Anthony Meelan that said, “I’m going to beat the hell out of you. ’’ Meelan arrived at the location and said he was upset because the victims took his football tickets, g AUTO BREAK-IN, LARCENY OF PRINTER, S-23 LOT, 300 BULL ST. The victim said that between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23, someone cut through his convertible’s canvas top to gain entry to his vehicle and removed a Hewlett-Packard printer as well as a gray-and-blue backpack. Estimated value: $70. Reporting officer: G. Kerwin. n AUTO BREAK-IN, LARCENY OF CD PLAYER, S-23 LOT, 300 BULL ST. The victim said someone took his Sony CD player from his Jeep. Seventy-five CDs were also taken. Estimated value: $300. Reporting officer: G. Kerwin. ©LARCENY OF BICYCLE, MOORE RESIDENCE HALL, 600 SUMTER ST. The victim said someone took his bicycle from the rack at the above location. The victim said the bicycle had a lock and chain on it when he last saw it. Reporting officer: E. Pereira. Monday, Nov. 24 ©NO S.C. DRIVER’S LICENSE, IMPROPER STOPPING OR STANDING IN ROADWAY, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, GREENE AND PICKENS STREET Reporting officers T. Brewster and J.M. Simmons saw a black Mercury Grand Marquis stopped in the roadway at the above location. The officers contacted the driver Larone Cain and instructed him to move to the nearest parking lot for further investigation. The officers reported that Cain said he did not have his license. When his name and date of birth were run, no match was found. The officers also found no match for Cain’s stated license number. He was asked to produce evidence of ownership of the vehicle, which had a paper tag. Passenger Terrance Duncan said his mother had just purchased the vehicle and that he left the paperwork at home. The officers ran the vehicle identification number With negative results ior soutn Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina. At that time, Cain was handcuffed and arrested. Duncan was loud and boisterous as he exited the vehicle, yelling and cursing at the officers on scene. Duncan was told to calm down and stop yelling or he would face arrest. He continued yelling and cursing, and he was arrested for disorderly conduct. ® MALICIOUS INJURY TO REAL PROPERTY, USC FINANCIAL AID OFFICE, 1716 COLLEGE ST. The complainant said someone took the power meter from the side of the building and laid it on the ground. Estimated damage: $100. Reporting officer: J.D. Rosier. ® MALICIOUS INJURY TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, BULL STREET GARAGE, 600 BULL ST. The victim said that between Nov. 23 and Nov. 24, someone pulled her front driver’s-side window off the track. The complainant said that between Nov. 21 and Nov. 24, someone broke the driver’s-side vent window of his vehicle and removed a hammer drill in a black case. The complainant also said the toolbox on the back of the truck was broken into but that no items were taken. The complainant’s wife found the drill in another vehicle. Estimated value: $400. Reporting officer: J.L. Meador. 22 BURGLARY (SECOND), JONES PHYSICAL SCIENCE CENTER, 712 MAIN ST. The complainant said that between Nov. 22 and Nov. 24, someone broke out the window / of Room 107, which is thought to be the point of entry, then forced open the door to Room 401. The entrant went into Room 210 and took a Gateway computer. Estimated value: $500. Reporting officer: T. Means. ® GRAND LARCENY OF BICYCLE, C-i LOT, 1312 PENDLETON ST. The victim said that between Nov. 20 and Nov. 24, someone removed his bicycle from the above location. The bicycle was secured to a rack. Estimated value: $1,000. Reporting officer: J.D. Tuesday, Nov. 25 @ LARCENY OF KEY, SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, BATES HOUSE, SECOND FLOOR, 1423 WHALEY ST. The complainant said that while in the shower at the above location, a white male with a khaki cap snatched his room key from his caddy and ran. Investigation continues. Estimated value: $1. Reporting officer: C. Clinton. @ LARCENY OF BICYCLE, COLUMBIA HALL BICYCLE RACK, 918 BARNWELL ST. The victim 0 said someone removed her Huffy bicycle from the above location. Estimated value: $100. Reporting officer: J.D. Rosier. m AUTO BREAK-IN, LARCENY OF CDS, RECOVERY OF CD PLAYER, DIRT LOT, PICKENS AND WHEAT STREET. The victim said that between Nov. 12 and Nov. 23, someone ripped the rear plastic window of his vehicle to gain entry. Twelve CDs were removed along with a CD player. The CD player was recovered damaged inside the vehicle. There was also damage to the center console and heat duct. Estimated value: $255. Reporting officer: J.D. The victim said that between Nov. 21 and Nov. 25, someone cut the lock on and removed his black Mongoose bicycle that was secured to the rack at the above location. Estimated value: $250. Reporting officer: Morant. @ LARCENY OF BICYCLE, MOORE RESIDENCE HALL, 601 SUMTER ST. The victim said that between Nov. 24 and Nov. 25, someone cut the lock on and took his gray-and-red Magna bicycle. The victim reported that the bicycle does not have a seat. The bicycle was secured to the rack at the above location. Estimated value: $65. Reporting officer: £ Morant. ^ DOMESTIC DISPUTE, S-6 # LOT, 1423 WHALEY ST. The victim said she and the subject were involved in a verbal altercation. The victim said she does not wish to press any charges. Reporting officer: J.D. Rosier. <g> DISORDERLY CONDUCT, WOODROW COLLEGE, 1415 GREENE ST. Reporting officers N. DeHaai and C. Clinton responded to a fire alarm at the above location. Once on the scene, there was smoke coming from Room 301, and the officers as well as three Columbia Fire Department personnel entered the room to Find Travis Roach passed out in a bedroom. Roach had no identification on his person. He was the only person^^ in the room. While attempting to gain information on Roach, officers reported that he became loud and boisterous, using profanity towards officers and fire department personnel. Roach had a strong odor of alcohol about him. He also had bloodshot eyes and was unsteady on his feet. Roach said he went to sleep because he had a great deal to drink. He was placed under arrest.
