Tennessee Volunteers Men’s Outlook: The Vols had a chance to make more of their 17-12 season last year, but lost in the first round of the NIT. Tennessee lost three starters this year, including team MVP forward Ron Slay. SEC All Freshman guard CJ. Watson and forward Brandon Crump will be looked to lead the team this year. Women’s Outlook: The Lady Vols begin their SEC regular-season championship defense by returning three starters. Returning top scoring forward Shyra Ely will also try to lead UT to the NCAA Championship game again this year. Vanderbilt Commodores Men’s Outlook: Vandy is coming off a disappointing 11-18 record . from last year, but the ‘Dores went to the second round of the SEC Tournament last season and will be bringing back four starters.
