Injury report Holtz said that wide receiver Chavez Donnings is expected to be redshirlied. Donnings has been slowed with a wrist injury the past couple of weeks, and he reag gravated the injury against Georgia. Donnings had to under go wrist surgery last season, which caused him to miss five games. Wide receiver Andrea Gause has a sore knee from the Temple game, long snapper Kevin Saylor has a sprained knee, and Turman suffered a mild shoulder stinger in practice. And while Pinnock has re ceived most of the carries this season, Irons stayed focused. “I figured if I keep on working, [Holtz] is going to have to fit me in somewhere,” Irons said. “So I just keep it up in practice, and hopefully, by the time the next game comes, I get a little more carries.” Irons gives a lot of credit to his freshman teammates, who have been supportive of him throughout the early part of the season. “We’re real close,” said Irons, who is roommates with Williamson. “We’re a family. We talk a lot, and so we’ve got trust between every one of us. They care about me, and I care about them.” , Clark also spoke highly of the relationship all the freshmen have with one another. “We’re all pretty close,” he said. “We hang out on the week days and after school, so we’ve formed a bond.” Having a support group like that helps the freshmen stay positive when things aren’t go ing so well, Williamson said. Saeed Khawaja, a midfielder and forward wing, scored two goals for USC, and Harmon Gillh, a midfielder, scored a third. The club is still looking for male and female players of all skill levels. Dance Sport Gamecock Dance Sport will have practice this Sunday in room 114 of the Blatt P.E. Center. These dances include salsa, shag, swing, rum ba, cha cha, fox trot, tango and the waltz. No experience is needed to join the club, and everyone is welcome. Bulldogs coach Buddy Pough suspended his star runner Monday, a day after his arrest for reckless driving in Richland County. “Derek has been suspended from the football team indefinite ly,” Pough said. Watson was charged by Richland County sheriffs deputies with driving left of the center line on a secondary road about 1:30 a.m., , according to Sgt. Chris Cowan. Watson, who was dismissed from USC last semester, also \yas charged with driving with a sus pended license. “I will continue to gather de tails related to the incident and meet with Derek again before de termining a final course of action for him and the university,” Pough said.
