DeHaai. @ INTERFERENCE WITH TRAFFIC CONTROL, 1405 WHALEY ST. The reporting officer, N. DeHaai, said Charles Prashaw, Evan R. Smiley, Christopher Thatch and Jonathan B. Sims had several traffic control signs unlawfully in their possession. The signs were taken and turned over to Investigator Snyder. The investigation continues. A number of Harkat fighters were known to have been killed in Afghanistan during the bombing campaign. Pearl, 38, a reporter based in Bombay, India, has been missing since Wednesday, when he went to visit a source near Karachi, Pakistan, for a story about terror ism, the newspaper said. Steven Goldstein, a vice presi dent of Dow Jones & Co., the Journal’s owner, said the news paper “has not had any direct con tact with the group” that claimed to hold Pearl.
