Re sponding officer met with complainant who described the following: unknown persons by unknown means entered the complainant's vehicle and removed one Pioneer car stereo and CD player. Complainant is not positive whether vehicle car doors were secured. Investigation continues. Estimated value: $280. Assistance Rendered, Taco Bell (Russell House). The responding officer assisted the victim who received an injury to her mid-chest area when she ran into a freezer door. EMT transported the victim to Richland Memorial Hospital. August 22 Larceny of Picture, Grand Market Place. Complainant stated that the back loading dock was unsecured. Complainant also stated that person(s) unknown and by unknown means removed one framed picture of the USC stadium that was located on the dining room wall Estimated Value: $300. uisoraeny uonauct, 438 Main Street. Responding officer was dispatched to above location. Upon arrival, subject was behind the wheel of the car. Responding officer could smell a strong odor of alcohol on person. Subject's speech was slurred and his balance was unstable. Subject became loud and boisterous about how much he had to drink. At this time subject was placed under arrest. Wallet was later recovered by an anonymous source on Main Street. Malicious Damage to Personal Property, Small Davis Field. Victim stated that unknown person(s) by unknown means placed a scratch mark from the front to the rear passenger side. Estimated damage: $900. August 24 Autobreaking, Larceny of Amplifier, Blossom Street Garage. Victim stated that unknown person(s) entered his secured vehicle by prying open the passenger side window. The following items were taken: one amplifier, one pair of ten-inch woofers, one radar detector. Estimated value: $500. Investigation continues. Illegal Use of Telephone, McClintock. Victim stated that subject called and made obscene comments. Seven or eight such calls have been made. Investigation continues. Assistance Rendered, Sub City (Russell House). Victim states, while sitting in a chair at the above location, she fainted, falling out of her chair and hitting her head on an unknown object. Victim stated she walked from Bates House to above location. Victim was transported to Baptist Hospital. Autobreaking, Larceny of CD Player, 1700 Pendleton Street. Victim stated that unknown individuals broke victim's front passenger door window and removed the below-listed items without permission: one Sony car disc-man, one Motorola cellular phone. Victim stated that subject removed between eight and 10 textbooks. It is unknown at this time the exact titles of the textbooks. The subject matter of the textbooks were International ' Business and Management. Estimated value: $250. Illegal Use of Telephone, South Quad. Victim stated that suhiect has been calling and hanging up on her or trying to argue with her about her boyfriend. Victim stated that she is scared he may show up uninvited and that the subject has threatened to do her harm in the past. August 25 Disorderly Conduct, 900 Main Street. Officer responded at complainant's request to the incident location. Subject was asleep in parking lot and upon further investigation showed to have the odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person. When asked for ID and place of residence, subject became loud and boisterous. Subject was placed under arrest. August 27 Burglary, Grand Larceny of Tools, McMaster College. Complainant stated that unknown person^) did forcefully enter two construction trailers and remove one 3,500 watt Honda generator, one air nailer, one hammer drill, and two Canon copiers. Estimated value: $4600. Disorderly Conduct, 1620 College Street. Responding officer observed suspect lying asleep on a table. The officer also detected a strong odor of alcohol and found two bottles of open liquor.
