Daniel Branyon, Gita Chakrabarti, Elizabeth Ann Chandler and Kelly Vickery were selected as scholarship recipients. The scholarships, valued at approximately $22,000 each, are given to promote understanding and friendly relations between peoples of different nations. Each scholarship recipient is expected to maintain high standards of academic achievement while serving as an unofficial "ambassador of pood will" between the neo pie of the sponsoring and host countries. Branyon, a graduate of the S.C. Honors College and a first-year student in USC's Master of International Business Studies (MIBS), will study international business and French at the University of Montpellier in France.
