Malizia added that the residents were just so happy to have people there to talk to. All those who participated in Saturday's service project said they walked away with a sense of accomplishment. Many of them could visibly see the difference they had made. After painting the sheds in Butler Park, senior Shantell Middletori said she had a great appreciation for the work that was done. She realized work doesn't automatically get done, but someone has to do it. As the participants returned from their sites in the late afternoon, there were many comments about how tired people were.
