Self-esteem workshop available The Counseling and Human Development Center will sponsor a twopart workshop on Tuesday and Thursday on the topic of "Appreciating Self. "As a professor, you pretty much can only control your own bailiwick ? your own program, maybe you have some say in your department," Briggs said. "But, up here, you really have the overview of the University." "You realize you have all kinds of opportunities to try to maintain a level at which the University conducts itself," Briggs said. Briggs came to USC in 1978.
