Forged by th heavy hand of bassist Susan Margolis the band of USC students has beei assaulting the Columbia scene. I recent! had the opportunity to talk with the bant members. When I talked to Susan, sh< reminisced about her past skatini experience. She has skated since shi was 10 years old, and at 13 shi commandeered a neighbor's empty poo and entered the "vertical world." Shi talked colorfully about her experiences displaying an 7-inch gash on her left leg Never one to complain, she said, "thi pain helps me play better.
