He agrees many alarms are caused by human error. "We have four systems that are exactly alike in Sims, Preston, McClintock and Wade Hampton," he said. "Wade Hampton and Sims haven't given us much trouble at all." The renovations done in Preston and McClintock last year may have led to some of the alarms," Starnes said, "but those problems liave been resolved. "Ks the residents now who are causing many of the problems," he said. "Everybody just wants to relate it to the equipment and fire alarm system."
