Information Session ^ Tuesday, February 6, 1996 ^ 7:30pm Gressette Room, Harper College W:. filnnr i r V* 1 CV/V/' USC students are invited to attend an information session on Rotary International Scholarships. Representatives from local Rotary Clubs will provide information on the scholarship, application procedures, and selection criteria. The Rotary A Foundation sponsors about 1,200 students a year for study abroad, Five USC students received Academic Year Ambassadorial Scholarships during the 1995 competition. The Academic Year Ambassadorial Scholarship, usually nine months, covers expenses for round-trip transportation, all academic fees, some supplies, on-campus housing & meals, ML educational travel, and limited contingency expenses. Foundation scholars are expected to be ambassadors for goodwill & must strive to contribute to world understanding & peace as they pursue jr their studies & after that. The award is valued at more than ^ $21,500. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens & apply directly to a ^ local Rotary Club. eS^ Application forms & contact information on local Rotary Clubs will be available at the February, 6 Information Session.
