Veteran's Day is, with the exception of Memorial Day, tunity we, as a country, can thank the men and women wh the freedom we cherish. Millions of people lost their lives t future generations the chance to experience democracy. So what can we do to thank the women who fought in ] the grandfathers who fought at Guda Canal? Simply take i our day and thank these individuals. Without them, we wo be where we are today. USC should be commended in its efforts to honor local V than ignore the holiday, USC is taking full advantage of thi sically dedicating Saturday's game to veterans with everyt berly Aiken (former Miss America) singing the national ai ing Scott O'Grady during the half-time show.
