Blackmon has proven to be a top reruiter at both the national and interlational levels. He has successfully reruited at least one American Junior Jolf Association All-America player each if the past nine years. Blackmon also ixcels as being a teaching coach, havng been a PGA professional and junior ;olf activist since 1973. He was instrumental in founding the Jacksonville (Fla.) Junior Golf Associaion, which is one of the largest in the tate.
