'70s musi JOAN HERBERGER Staff Writer I was really glad to hear somebody else ha: lems figuring out how to do the "C in the Villaj pie's hit "YMCA." As journalism freshman Erin Shaw said, * tend to generalize all 70s music as disco." Bu1 weren't any bell bottoms in Barry Drake's pre tion, "70s Rock: The Good, the Bad, The Ugly, halfway through. Even though my favorite part definitely the segments on Devo, the Bee Gees i course, the obligatory shots of John Travolta a king in Saturday Night Fever, I learned a lot a decade of music I had really overlooked. I left tl sentation wanting to build my musical knowledj add some classics to my CD collection. Drake presented the music of the 70s in th text of political, cultural and social activities, sh how rock both reflected the events and change attitudes of a decade.
