In her final home appearance, Reed scored three of the team's six runs. USC coach Joyce Compton attributed the team's victory to their hardnosed style of play and added that the Gamecocks aggressiveness on the basepaths led to several errors on the part of the Demons. "You worry about their baserunners; you mishandle it and *hey take extra bases on you," he said. Audrey Ramsey of Wendell, N.C., a Angela Thompson of Chester will j< the 1994-1995 Lady Gamecock b ketball team filling the spots of five niors who graduated this season. Godfrey, a 5-foot-8 shooting gua from North Iredale High School, co pleted her prep career as the leadi scorer for her team averaging 1* points per game. She finished as t second leading rebounder with . per game, as well as recording 6.5 sists and 2.2 steals per contest. In four years, she collected a total 1,416 points, breaking the N.C. thn point record with a career total of 2 treys. In her season, she totaled three-pointers while shooting 45 p cent.
