JO Harding to skate in Olympics The U.S. Olympic Committee cancelea the disciplinary hearing that was set for Friday to discuss Tonya Harding's place on the Olympic team. The committee announced Harding will be allowed to skate in Lillehammer without missing any events. Harding has also dropped her lawsuit against the USOC. In a fax sent to Lillehammer, she said she regretted any inconvenience her court proceed ings might have caused. Nancy Kerrigan said she is very capable of performing. She said her knee was fine and that she is capable of doing what she has been working for the last 18 years to do. Price, Rider win in Minneapolis Cleveland Cavalier Mark Price won his second three-point shooting contest in a row Saturday. He scored a record 24 points in the last round against Dana Barros to win the event. Isaiah Rider became the fourth rookie to win the slam dunk competition Saturday. The Minnesota Timberwolf was awarded 49 points with the winning dunk in the finals. In the winning dunk, Rider twirled the ball under his knee before slamming the ball home. Rider called the dunk the East Bay Funk Dunk, referring to his hometown of Oakland, Calif. For the first time, the NBA All-Star Weekend had a rookie All-Star game. Orlando Magic guard Anfernee Hardaway led all scorers with 22 points in the game, although his team, the Sensations, lost 74-68 to the Phenoms. The Golden State Warriors' Chris Webber led his team with 18 points. UNC falls to Georgia Tech For the sixth straight week the nation's No. 1 team lost. Scalpers make big bucks at Olympics Scalpers sold tickets for the opening ceremonies or the Winter Olympics for about $220. Their face value was about $60.
