The S.C. Football High School Coaches Association in conjunction with the Carolina coaching staff will host a football coaches clinic Feb. 4-5 on campus. The clinic is open to all high school coaches, and registration information can be obtained by calling 777-6657. Two University of Miami defensive coaches, Rick Petri (line) and Greg McMackin (secondary), are featured guest lecturers. The USC staff, including coach Brad Scott, will conduct seminars. Coaches from 18 other colleges and universities, including Clemson coach Tommy West, are included on the program. The theme for the clinic is "Football for Real."
