Of course, the place I am referring to is Garrett's Grille & Grog in Five Points. Garrett's is one of those places where you always feel at home. With a marvelous wait staff and amiable bartenders, Garrett's has quickly become one of the best bar-and-grills around. There is simply nothing quite like its warm atmosphere. Garrett's long and narrow design is conducive to making new acquaintances. To get anywhere, you must walk by everyone else. Jim Bess, a newcomer to Columbia, said, "I've been here an hour and already met several people." Garrett's has two separate bars for faster and more convenient service and more than a dozen televisions for anyone interested in catching a game.
