Volleyb; to No. 1 JIMMY DeBUTTS [~ Senior Writer USC ? The women's volleyball team was defeated Friday by the Kentucky Wildcats three games to one at the Sol Blatt P.E. Center. Kentucky came into the match 20-1, while the Gamecocks were 12-8. The Wildcats dominated the match, dropping only the third game 15-17 en route to their 21st victory. The Wildcats won the first two games 15-12. USC won the third game, but Kentucky finished off the Gamecocks in the fourth game 15-6. Kentucky was led by Molly Dreisbach, Kristi Robinson and Eunice Thomas. Dreisbach had 20 kills in 57 * attempts with two errors for a .320 average. She also had one solo block and four block assists. Robinson contributed 18 kills in 41 attempts with six errors for a .293 average. She also had three block assists. Thomas had 18 kills in 50 attempts with seven errors for a .222 average.
