Recycling pre rare black rh From Staff Reports Riverbanks Zoo's monthly aluminum recycling drive, which endin A nonet raicpit mnrp than $500 for the black rhino conservation program this year. Zoo visitors donated 1,814 pounds of aluminum to the zoo for recycling from January through August 1992. Reynolds Aluminum Recycling Co., sponsor of the project, recycled the aluminum and donated all of the proceeds to Riverbanks. All funds collected through recycling benefit the zoo's black rhino conservation program. Riverbanks Zoo houses a pair of these endangered animals in its renovated African Plains exhibit.
