Blood drive t< By PARASETTIA SINGLETON MM Carolina I ifa Fditor The Red Cross will conduct its largest blood drive of the summer iSi today and tomorrow at the Russell House Ballroom. The blood drive, which is sponsored to help celebrate USC Staff Day '92, is an annual event. It is Minimi iu uie /viinuai Clemson/Carolina Blood Drive. This year's honorary chairperson is USC's head basketball coach, Steve Newton. Newton and the Red Cross sponsors are hoping the drive will be a huge success. The goal for this year's blood drive is 400 pints. Red Cross spokeswoman Laura Brown said the goal for the 1991 drive was 500 pints, but they only collected 289 pints. "Last year's collections were low, but we aren't giving up on obtaining collections.
