Kenneth Meu nlf, a visiting professor at the USC School of Medicine, will be presented the 1991 Alpha Omega Alpha Award for the best Basic Science Teacher in Medical Schools. Metcalf will be presented with this national award Nov. 10 at the annual meeting of the American Association of Medical Colleges in Washington, D.C. Alpha Omega Alpha is a medical honor society consisting of third and fourth-year medical students. Its elite student membership represents the top 10 percent of medical schools in the country. Metcalf and his wife, Dr. Norah F. Metcalf, joined the USC Medical School's department of anatomy, cell biology and neuroscience this fall as visiting professors.
