Tuesday, Aug. 20, students cheered on the Gamecocks at the pep rally. The rally was held on the Russell House patio. Students had chances to win two Carolina/ Clemson tickets. The Wild Video Dance Party held in the Russell House ballroom seemed to be everyone's favorite event. Bob Hall led a discussion on sex and dating. Thursday. Aug. 22 and Friday. Aug. 23, students got to participate in the Scavenger Hunt and watch The Freshman outdoors. Preview Week was free for all students. The events were sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, the Division of Law Enforcement and Safety, the Athletic Department, Univerity Housing Services, University Dining Services, Koger Center for the Arts and the Sol Blatt P.E.
