Former Clen By The Associated Press An athletic director confirmed that a former Clcmson quarterback coach is among those named in the NCAA's 14 allegations of rules violations by the university's football program, but he says the former coach didn't break any rules. "I looked at the allegations and there is no wrongdoing," said Ark ansas Athletic Director Frank Broyles of former Clemson quarterhack coach Jack Crowe, now of fensive coordinator and quarterback coach at Arkansas. "Some strict interpretation of the rules is all he's involved with, nothing that involves right or wrong." In one of the allegations, six coaches were implicated in 11 recruiting violations that occurred over a three-year period. The university has until March 12 to respond. The Committee on Infractions will review the case at its April 20-22 meeting in Kansas City. The university should be informed of any sanctions within two to four weeks of the meeting.
