The book, which is designed to teach college students keyboarding, formating, communication and document production skills, was published in 1985. And as if VanHuss didn't have enough success, she was recently presented the Gold Book Award at a press conference at the Capital City Club here in Columbia. The award is given to honor the author who has written a book that has sold more than a million copies, a South-Western Publishing Co. representative said. Representative Randy Sims said it was especially rare for textbooks to sell that many copies. This is the 72nd Gold Book Award the company has given.
