Columbia welcomes fall in s special way each year, witl Autumnfest This autumn's 'Fest began Mon day, but the main festival weekenc kicks off todays and continue: through Sunday. It is the seventl annual celebration coordinated bj the Columbia Action Council. Jane Heath, director of public relations for CAC, said the festival's highlights will be in the entertainment "One highlight will be Friday ? there will be a great concert with the Atlanta Rhythm Section," she said, adding that Rob Crosby will perform Saturday and Livingston Taylor on day. Tonight's concert begins at 9:15 on the Hampton-Preston Mansion stage. Crosby's performance is at 4 p.m. Saturday on the BellSouth Mobility stage, and Taylor per iorms at 4:ju p.m. Sunday on tlie same stage. Autumnfest has grown over the years, and this season boasts some new attractions. "One of the biggest ways we have expanded this year is through the Autumn Sky art show at Seibels House," Heath said. The show features 20 works by Columbia artist Blue Sky, best known perhaps for his mural "Tunnel Vision" on the Federal Land Bank Building. Admission to the show is free through Sunday.
