Batch of sequels among releases of summer of From staff reports Hollywood studios are preparing to flood theaters with new releases in the next few months, and sequels are at the top of the list. Two of the biggest money-making sequels should be Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. Both films continue the tales of highly successful movies. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade will feature Harrison Ford starring once again in the title role. Sean Connery will play Indy's father. Directed by Steven Spielberg, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is set for release in May. The latest installment in the Star Trek movie series reunites the crew from the '60s television show once again. William Shatner directed the fifth movie, which will hit theaters in June. Other sequels include Back to the Future II, starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, and Lethal Weapon II, which teams up Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Both of those films are slated for summer-release dates. James Bond will also return this summer in License Revoked, the second 007 film with Timothy Dalton as the cunning secret agent. License Revoked is set for release in June. A sequel to Ghostbusters is also on the way. Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd will return to battle the supernatural in their own comical way. And film fans can expct yet another Police Academy this spring with the release Police Academy 6 in March.
